What can grow in the ruins of the Plantation ?

𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 delves into the speculative possibilities of a Post-Plantation society in La Réunion. Discarded machetes, once instruments of labour subjugation, are repurposed into everyday tools offering alternative gestures to the land.

The artefacts serve as both archives of a violent past and devices for recalling possible futures.
